BCCI announces Team India for T20 World Cup, these players got a place

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the Indian team for the 2022 T20 World Cup to be played in Australia. Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has got a place in this team. At the same time, Jaspreet Bumrah and Harshal Patel have returned.

However, fast bowlers Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar have not been included in the 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup. Shreyas Iyer and Ravi Bishnoi are also not in the World Cup squad. However, all these players have been added to the team as standbys.

Four fast bowlers found place in World Cup squad

The BCCI has included four fast bowlers in the 2022 T20 World Cup squad. It has Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel and Arshdeep Singh. At the same time, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal and Akshar Patel will handle the spin department in this team.

Both Karthik and Pant got a place

Both Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik have been included in Team India for the 2022 T20 World Cup. Apart from this, Deepak Hooda has also managed to make a place in this team. At the same time, KL Rahul has got the vice-captaincy.
