Panipat (Haryana): On the first day of its second phase of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in Haryana, the Congress resumed from Sanoli-Panipat road this morning. The yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, re-entered Haryana from Uttar Pradesh on Thursday evening. The yatra resumed from Sanoli border in Panipat after a night’s rest.
Several senior Congress leaders from Haryana joined Rahul in the padyatra. Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had said that Rahul had left for Delhi on Thursday night to meet his ailing mother Sonia Gandhi. He returned on Friday morning to take part in the yatra.
