BJP leader Bagga arrest case, next hearing on May 10 in High Court

New Delhi: The hearing on the Punjab government’s application regarding arrest of BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga in the Punjab and Haryana HC has been adjourned to Tuesday.

Delhi Police counsel Satya pal Jain said a petition was filed by the Punjab government in the Punjab and Haryana HC and the matter has been adjourned to Tuesday, May 10 as it was a matter of a separate bench. Therefore, the matter will be heard again on Tuesday. He said that Tejinder Bagga was not informed before he was taken into custody. His father then filed a complaint. The Punjab Police did not give any information before taking Bagga away. The action of the Delhi Police is in accordance with the law. The Punjab Police has not lodged a complaint against any police officer.
