Chandigarh: There are reports of an explosion at Punjab Police’s intelligence wing headquarters in Mohali Monday late evening.
Police officials said that no damage was reported in the incident.
As per the press communique released by Mohali Police a minor explosion was reported at the Punjab Police Intelligence Head quarters in sector 77, SAS Nagar at around 7:45 PM. No damage has been reported. Senior officers are on the spot and investigation is being done. Forensic teams have been called.
Police officials said that the incident is being investigated by the officials and they refused to divulge further information.
The heads of all police stations in Mohali district, including SSP Mohali, and Rupnagar range Gurpreet Singh have reached the spot and are investigating the matter. Now the entire road with the intelligence building has been sealed by the police.
