BMW’s cheapest G310R and G310GS bikes become expensive, check revised prices

New Delhi: BMW Motorrad India’s G 310 R and G 310 GS prices have gone up. This is the third increase since its launch in October 2020. BS6 models of these motorcycles were launched. The BMW G310R has now grown to Rs 2.65 lakh, while the G310 GS has been priced at Rs 3.05 lakh. The prices of both the motorcycles have been increased by Rs 5,000. All prices are in ex-showroom Delhi. The BMW G310 Twins was first launched in India in 2018.

After this, in 2020, they were again re-launched with some new updates.

 

Engine and how much capacity it has:

Their engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Both bikes have the same 313cc single-cylinder, liquid/water-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 33.5 hp at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

 

These bikes give a stiff competition

The G310R gives a tough competition to the KTM Duke 390, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in the Indian market, while the G310 GS, KTM 390 Adventure, competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Both bikes have USD forks in the front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock absorber in the rear. For braking, they get disc brakes with standard double channel ABS.

 

The price of Hero’s bike also increased:

Hero MotoCorp will also increase the prices of its motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 2,000 from April 5, the company has announced in this regard. The reason behind the price increase has been the rising prices of raw materials. The company says that the price of raw materials is constantly rising. So we have to increase the price of bikes.
