Ludhiana: The body of nine-year-old Sehajpreet, who had been missing for the last two days, was found in the canal this morning.
Sehaj’s relatives had been roaming around the city for the last 24 hours. The family suspected that he had been abducted by someone. Sahaj had gone to collect fruits on a bicycle with his uncle from home.
His uncle says that he went to get the fruit and later Sehajpreet disappeared. Police found the body of the child this morning. However, he killed and later dumped body in the canal over a family dispute.
Police said that his uncle has confessed to the crime and he has been arrested.
