Chandigarh: A bomb has been found in the military ground of Khanna, Ludhiana. Recently, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra also passed through this route.
In the morning, the person who went to defecate spotted a bomb and immediately informed the police.
Police officials immediately rushed to the spot and sealed the entire area.
A bomb disposal team has been called in. The bomb will be examined after the team arrives.
Getting bombs from the military ground is a concerning matter as there the youth arrive for recruitment including physical tests etc. are conducted here.
Seven days ago Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra also passed through this route. Rahul’s journey started about 300 to 500 meters away from the place where the bomb was found. Due to security reasons, the bomb site has been surrounded by the police.
