Ottawa: At least 10 people were killed and 15 injured in knife attacks in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan on Sunday.

The Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mountain Police has issued an alert regarding dangerous individuals, as the suspects are still on the run. According to the CBC report, the Melfort RCMP has issued a province-wide dangerous persons alert following several stabbings in James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.

The RCMP said in a press conference that 10 people have died at 13 places and at least 15 people have been hospitalized. Saskatchewan RCMP commanding officer Rhonda Blackmore said, ‘There could be more injuries.’

The RCMP said that they have received a report. The two suspects have been identified as Damien Sanderson and Miles Sanderson. Both the identified suspects were seen in the Arcella Avenue area of Regina.

“Since the suspects are at large, we have asked to raise the alert to Manitoba and Alberta,” the RCMP said.

Police are asking Regina residents to exercise caution and consider seeking shelter. The RCMP said that residents should be careful about allowing others to come to their homes and not leave safe places.

The Saskatchewan RCMP said in the morning that there were multiple victims in several places and it appeared that the victims were being attacked at random.
