Canada bought 140 million new rapid testing kits: Pm Trudeau

Ottawa: Strengthening the number of kits available to provinces and territories in the country, Canadian government has brought 140 million rapid tests into Canada.

Sharing the details, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on his social media handle said, “As promised, we brought 140 million rapid tests into Canada last month – and we’re getting more and more of them to distribute to the provinces and territories. We’ve also got enough doses of vaccines for you to get vaccinated – and boosted. It’s time to roll up your sleeve.”

These kits are enough for one rapid per week for every Canadian for the rest of the month, officials said.
