Canada Covid: Omicron eases in many Provinces, others warn worst is still to come

Ottawa: The Omicron fuelled 5th wave of coronavirus seems to be dwindling in some provinces, while others feel that the worst is imminent.

Health authorities said that there is a decline in hospitalisation in Saskatchewan while Alberta witness a sharp rise in hospitalization, which levels has not been seen since mid-October.

According to authorities, 3417 Covid patients in Quebec hospital, 4183 patients are in Ontario hospitals. Likewise, 1975 cases of Covid in B. C. including 854 people in hospital, indicates a swift decline in serious condition of fifth wave. The BC has recently reopened gyms and other fitness facilities as a cautious step in lifting restrictions amid Covid-19.
