Ottawa: The federal government is considering to end the border rules on Covid-19 vaccines by the end of September. Along with this, the government is also planning to make AliveCan an elective app.
The federal government will change its policies on the pandemic by the end of this month. According to reliable sources, the Liberal government has also indicated to end Covid-19 testing for travelers.
In June, the federal government said border restrictions, including mandatory showing proof of vaccination to enter Canada, would continue until at least September 30. According to the latest report, the federal government is announcing to not follow these criteria.
It is not yet clear what rules related to vaccination the government will change by the end of this month. An announcement in this regard is likely to be made soon in the coming days. It is also not clear whether the US will change these rules on the lines of Canada. But all travelers entering the US, who are not US citizens, still have to provide proof of full vaccination.
