Canada’s immigration backlog exceeds 2 million

Ottawa: Amid rising backlogs, lack of communication and transparency by Canadian government, it is causing frustrations among immigrants those seeking their Canadian dream.

According to data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the backlog has risen to over 2 million applications in all categories in April month. The backlog was 1.8 million in March.
