Toronto: Indian government has expressed its serious concern after elected mayor of Greater Toronto Area in Canada attended an event that featured Khalistan flags and anti-India slogans.
The mayor had recently attended a vigil at Metropolis Corridor for Indian actor and activists Deep Sidhu, who died last week in a car accident.
Sidhu was a prime accused in Red Fort violence on Republic Day in Delhi faced sentence in the case.
During the vigil people were seen carrying placards studying #IndiaKIlls and they also raised slogans against India, the videos of the event also went viral on the social media.
