Ottawa: Amid protests in Capital by thousands of people against Covid-19 restrictions, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau appealed people for vaccination to contain virus spread.
“Vaccines are our best tool to protect our economy and save lives – and our best way to get back to the people, places, and things we love,” PM said adding that to the health care workers, truckers, and others on the front lines who’ve gotten vaccinated: Thank you.
He urged people follow their example.
People and truckers have been protesting for past several days against Covid-19 restrictions in the country.
