CBSA Initiates New Dumping and Subsidy Investigation into Container Chassis from China

Ottawa: The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has launched a fresh investigation into the dumping and subsidizing of certain container chassis, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, which caused injury to the domestic industry. Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainant in this case was Max‑Atlas Équipement International Inc., of Saint‑Jean‑sur‑Richelieu, Quebec.

The Tribunal will issue the reasons for its finding on March 7, 2022, officials said in a statement.
