Chandigarh: In a major operation against the bus operators floating norms in Gurdaspur district, the Transport Department today impounded 25 buses. The buses belonging to big private players were operating without tax, without time and floating other transport norms.
Disclosing this here today, Baldev Singh Randhawa, Regional Transport Authority, Gurdaspur said that this action was taken against the buses of defaulter private companies, such as Rajdhani, Dabwali and Libra Transport etc.
Randhawa said that any person violating the terms and conditions of the department would not be spared.
