Cheetah release ‘tamasha’ orchestrated by PM Modi to avoid national issues: Congress

New Delhi: The Congress today alleged that the to suppress national issues and divert attention from the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released eight Cheetahs brought from Namibia in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park on Saturday.

Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh tweeted, “PM hardly ever accepts continuity in governance. The latest example of this is the not even mention of my visit to Cape Town on April 25, 2010, for the Cheetah project. Today, the Prime Minister created an unnecessary spectacle. It is an attempt to suppress national issues and divert attention from the India Connect Yatra.”
