Chicago: A suspect has been detained after a mass shooting in downtown Chicago killed two people and injured eight others yesterday night.
Police said the incident took place after 10:40 pm. Outside a few blocks of McDonald’s from the city’s magnificent Mile shopping district. The glass panes of one of the windows that served food were shattered during the firing.
Chicago police confirmed that one suspect is in custody and a handgun has been recovered from the scene.
