Calgary: The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is continue to close the seasonal Chief Mountain, Alberta border crossing (AB Hwy 6) until further notice.

The CBSA has not opened Chief Mountain since the start of the pandemic. The continued closure is necessary to ensure enhanced health screening and management of border wait times at the busiest ports of entry.

Travellers driving to Canada must use an alternate port of entry, such as the Carway border crossing (AB Hwy 2) or the Coutts border crossing (AB Hwy 4).
