Jalandhar: Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi played cricket and football with youngsters at village Malko during a brief stop over on his way to Jalandhar from Nakodar on Sunday evening.
Exhorting them to participate in sports zealously so as to further groom the budding sportspersons for national and international competitions, Channi further said that sports also play a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of our youth to make them ideal citizens of the society.
Earlier, CM paid obeisance at Dera Baba Murad Shah and Darbar Almast Bapu Lal Badshah, Nakodar on Sunday.
