CM Mann and Manish Sisodia visit Patiala to attend parent-teacher meeting

Chandigarh: In a bid to facilitate and strengthen Punjab’s education model, CM Bhagwant Mann on Saturday visited the Government Senior Secondary Smart (GSSSS) School in Model Town, Patiala. He was accompanied by Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh. School students welcomed CM Mann and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia with flowers.

The parents of the students expressed happiness over CM Bhagwant Mann and Manish Sisodia paying attention to the government school. Family members said that this is the first time a CM has taken such a step towards improving education. The mother of a child said that after thirty years she is unable to trust a CM in front of her.

A Student Tanya asked CM Bhagwant Mann about the need to build a playground in the school. Mann immediately ordered to build a play ground.

Apart from this, shortcomings were also asked, but the student said that the school has all kinds of facilities ranging from washrooms. CM and Manish Sisodia interacted with their families, including teachers and students, only after the PTM was over.

School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, along with CM Bhagwant Mann and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, interacted with the students.

During this time many students sang songs to him, while many students shared their ideas for the development of the education world. During this, CM Mann told the students that first you serve the society, then the society will give you more than that.

The families of the students said that more attention is being paid to the education of children these days than before. CM Bhagwant Mann and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia also spoke to many students.
