Chandigarh: The Congress party on Tuesday late night released its second list of 23 candidates for the state assembly polls. The party has now declared 109 candidates so for the elections.
Among those who have been given tickets in the second list include ex-CM Harcharan Singh Brar’s daughter-in-law Karan Brar who has been fielded from Muktsar. Surprisingly, party has fielded Former Congress MLA Tarlochan Singh Soondh, even though Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was willing to field Hussan Lal, his principal secretary from the Banga segment.
The party has also not made the announcement for Patiala urban seat from where former CM Capt Amarinder was the candidate.
