Congress, BJP oppose AAP govt’s move to introduce confidence motion

Chandigarh: Congress MLAs led by party leader Partap Bajwa today strongly opposed the AAP government’s move to introduce a confidence motion in the Punjab Assembly session. He said there was no confidence motion on the agenda of the Business Advisory Committee meeting. Due to this, they also disrupted the proceedings of the House and later the Congress MLAs staged a sit-in outside the House before staging a sit-in and also held a funny session.

BJP also held a mock assembly session in its headquarters here and attacked AAP government for wasting taxpayers money.

BJP demanded from the Punjab governor to dismiss the government for misinformation the governor and holding confidence motion even the Governor had denied the permission.
