New Delhi: India has also become cautious after rising cases of Covid-19 in China and Japan. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with health officials on Wednesday to review the corona situation in the country.
In this meeting, instructions were given to be cautious about the new variant of Corona and the minister urged people to wear face mask in crowded public places.
The Union Health Minister stressed on the importance of being prepared and vigilant against new variants of Covid-19, especially in view of the upcoming festive season. At the same time, he asked to be cautious about the increasing number of coronavirus cases in countries like China, Japan, South Korea, France and US. Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya said that Covid is not over yet.
“I have instructed all concerned departments to remain alert and strengthen surveillance. I also urge people to take the Covid vaccine,” he added.
