New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) reiterated its commitment to cooperate with the country in tackling the pandemic, expressing concern over the COVID-19 situation in North Korea.
The WHO said that because vaccination has not started in North Korea, there is a risk of a rapid spread of the virus.
In North Korea, eight people died of Covid on Monday and 392,920 people reported symptoms of fever. According to the country’s emergency anti-virus headquarters, more than 1.2 million people have fallen ill due to the outbreak of fever since the end of April. About 5,64,860 people are in isolation.
