New Delhi: With some countries witnessing a surge in Covid cases, the Centre today urged states and UTs to ensure availability of liquid medical oxygen, oxygen cylinders as per requirement and ventilators in hospitals to counter any eventuality.
In a letter to all states and Union Territories, Manohar Agni, Additional Secretary in the Health Ministry, said the operation and maintenance of these medical infrastructure is very important to deal with any situation. Even though the number of cases in the country is low now, preparations should be kept full.
