Raipur: A CRPF officer has been killed during an exchange of fire with Maoists in Bijapur district of Chattisgarh.
The incident took place when a patrol team of CRPF was out for a road opening and sanitising duty, officials said.
Meanwhile, deceased officer has been identified as Assistant Commandant SB Tirkey, who succumbed to his bullet injuries and the combing operation is under way.
