Days after busting illegal mining gang, Hoshiarpur SSP Nimbale again shifted

Chandigarh: An IPS officer, who has been usually get transferred for his strict stand against illegal mining, yet again transferred to another district just after weeks he busted a illegal mining racket after seizing whopping Rs 1.52 crore cash in Hoshiarpur.

IPS officer Dhruman H Nimbale has been posted out of Hoshiarpur to Muktsar district as newly formed Aam Aadmi Party has transferred other 12 IPS officers on Thursday.

AAP CM Bhagwant Mann had promised tough action against illegal mining, however, on March 25, a few days after change of government, Nimbale busted illegal miners and employees of a sand mining firm while arresting dozen people in Hoshiarpur, again got transferred, which is seen fishy, said retired police officer.

Meanwhile, SSP, Nimbale, has seen 18 transfers in eight years, which is twice a year on an average, mainly for his adamant stand against illegal mining.
