Delhi government on alert over rising cases of coronavirus, ‘mock drill’ in government hospitals

New Delhi: These days the risk of H3N2 variants of influenza virus has increased significantly. The impact of corona virus has also not diminished.

Amid a surge in coronavirus and influenza cases, the Delhi government conducted mock drills in government hospitals on March 26.

Through mock drills, the availability of oxygen in hospitals, preparedness of health facilities will be checked. In view of the rise in coronavirus and influenza type cases, government hospitals conducted drills on the orders of the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The rising cases of influenza and coronavirus have increased the concern of the government. People are being advised to follow the rescue and guidelines. Dr. Suresh Kumar, Medical Director of LNJP Hospital has told that Corona infected patients have started coming to the hospital.

For the last two months, not a single corona patient was admitted in the hospital. Corona infected people are also required to be admitted to the hospital. He says that there is no need to panic about Covid.
