Congress Members of Parliament Manish Tiwari has taken up this matte before the Union government Mansukh Mandaviya and sought action against the hospital.

He wrote a letter to the union minister and later took to twitter, “Letter to @MoHFW_INDIA, @mansukhmandviya urging him to call for an explanation from @MaxHealthcare as to why a patient was charged 1.8 crores.Delhi Govt should do the same Also to set up independent regulator for Health & Pharmaceuticals industry,” he wrote while sharing photos of the letter.
