New Delhi: With Covid-19 cases are now on decline in the national capital, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday decided to reopen classes (nursery to Class 8) from November 1 in the schools.
In other announcements, the government body also issued directions to follow Covid-19 norms ahead of Dussehra and Durga Puja in Delhi including restrictions on crowd capacity, mask compliance, and some others to contain virus spread.
The move came after as there was a growing demand from several parents’ groups in the national capital to restart physical classes for schoolchildren of classes 6-8.
