New Delhi: Dense fog enveloped the northern plains of the country, including Delhi, for the second consecutive day this morning. An airport official said there was no impact on flight services.

“Dense to very dense fog is very likely to occur over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh during night/morning hours for the next three days,” the IMD had said in a statement.

Dense fog engulfed almost all the districts of Punjab. Due to this, road and rail traffic was affected.
