Dubai-bound SpiceJet makes emergency landing in Karachi

New Delhi: A SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Dubai has made an emergency landing in Pakistan.

According to the latest information, the plane has landed in Karachi after a technical snag. It is being told that there was no such fault in the plane that the passengers would know, but this malfunction could not be ignored. There was scope for damage, in view of which the plane has made an emergency landing.

According to the information received from the DGCA, there were 150 passengers on board. The crew had noticed an unusual decrease in the amount of fuel from the left tank. The aircraft landed in Karachi in collaboration with the ATC. It said that no leak was seen from the left tank during the post-flight inspection.

A SpiceJet spokesperson said no emergency was declared and the plane made a normal landing. There were no previous reports of any malfunction with the aircraft. The passengers have been given refreshments. At the same time, a plane was sent to Karachi which took the passengers to Dubai.
