Toronto: A 30-year-old East Lothian woman killed in a hit-and-run in Canada’s Toronto on Thursday.
Deceased has been identified as Erin Yoxall, who was hit by a white Mercedes AMG GT convertible and later accused driver fled. from the spot, police said.
Following road mishap, victim was rushed to hospital but she succumbed to her injuries during the treatment.
Preliminary investigation revealed that accused stopped the car and got out, they looked at her and later fled from the spot
Police are investigating the case and accused are still absconding.
Meanwhile, Yoxall hailed from Tranent but had been living in Canada for eight years.
