New Delhi: The social media company has reacted strongly to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s announcement to end the Twitter deal. The social media giant has said it will sue Elon Musk for implementing a $44 billion deal that Elon Musk now wants to leave.
“The Twitter Board is committed to closing the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Mr. Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident we will prevail in the Delaware Court of Chancery,” Twitter chairman Bret Taylor said.
Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, said on Friday he was scrapping a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter after the social media giant failed to provide information about fake accounts.
