Elon Musk to take over Twitter for $44 Billion

New Delhi: Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, struck a deal Monday to buy Twitter for $44 billion.

“Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated,” Musk said in a statement adding further, “I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous potential- I love forward to working with the company of users to unlock it,” Musk said in statement.

Meanwhile, with this 44 billion dollar buyout offer Musk, it has become one of the biggest acquisitions ever.
