Express Entry: Canada invites skilled workers overseas after one and half years

Ottawa: After a hiatus of over one and half year, Canada government has resumed Express Entry draws for all categories and has invited Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) on Wednesday.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited a total of 1500 applicants to apply for PR through express entry, which was stopped since December 2021.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score was 557.

Earlier, announcing to resume draws, Immigration minister Sean Fraser said, “Starting July 6th, 2022, qualified candidates will be invited to apply for permanent residency from the following programs:

1.Federal Skilled Worker program

2.Federal Skilled Trades program

3.Canadian Experience Class.”
