Chandigarh: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni on Saturday launched his political outfit ‘Sanyukt Sangharsh Party’ and announced to contest the upcoming Punjab Assembly polls.
In a press conference here, Chaduni said that the party plans to contest in all 117 seats in the upcoming polls in Punjab. He, however, clarified that he wouldn’t contest the elections from Punjab.
Sanyukt Sangharsh Party is the first political outfit to have emerged from the year-long farmers’ protest against the three contentious laws.
