New Delhi: After a year of struggle against centre government demanding repeal of the black farm bills, farmers in large convoys of tractors, began returning to their home states, taking with them a victory to cherish and memories of a successful siege at Delhi’s borders.
Emotions ran high as the they set off for their homes in different states, including Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh after a successful movement.
Punjab government has stated preparations for a grand welcome of farmers and enacting welcoming gate across the state as farmers retuning back today.
