Former football Colombian star Freddy Rincon died in an accident

New Delhi: Colombian former international midfielder Freddy Rincon (55) succumbed to his injuries after sustaining multiple injuries in a traffic accident two days backs, doctors said.

According to the information, his car was collided with a bus after which his condition remained critical two days during the treatment.

He was a Colombian former professional footballer who played 84 games for the Colombia national team between 1990 and 2001.

A versatile midfielder he was capable of playing on the left, in the centre or as an attacking midfielder.
