Chandigarh: Former Market Committee chairman and Congress leader Major Singh Dhariwal was shot dead in broad daylight on Monday.
According to the information, this incident took place when Major Singh was sitting in his resort SBI. Meanwhile, some unidentified people entered the resort and shot Major Singh.
He wa taken to the civil hospital but doctors declared him brought dead.
The body has been sent for post-mortem by the Police Station City Patti. The police are investigating the case to identify the miscreants.
