Gas prices in the GTA to drop today to lowest level since January

Toronto: The gas prices in the GTA will drop to the lowest level since January today.

Roger McKnight, Chief Petroleum Analyst at En-Pro International, said gas prices set to drop by four cents on Wednesday. At most of the GTA stations, it will fetch gas $1.429 a litre. Last week, the price of gas was $ 1.529 per liter and it fell by six cents on the weekend to $ 1.469 per liter. With the reduction in gas prices today, gas prices can be reduced by 11 cents in a week.

In January, gas prices in the GTA had come down to $1.409 a litre. After that, these prices were skyrocketing at $ 2.149 per liter in June before reaching $ 1.44 per liter in September.
