GDP to be between 6-6.8% in 2023-24: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presents Economic Survey

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Economic Survey 2022-23 in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Budget Session 2023-24 will be presented in Parliament tomorrow.

However, the Economic Survey states that the growth rate is estimated to be 7 percent in the financial year 2022-23, while the economic growth rate in the financial year 2021-22 has been 8.7 percent.

The Economic Survey has estimated that the economic growth rate in the year 2022-23 is estimated to be 7 percent. When the Economic Survey report for 2021-22 was presented last year, the Indian economy was estimated to grow at the rate of 8 to 8.5 percent in 2022-23.

Due to the war between Ukraine and Russia and the global economic crisis, the economic growth rate may be lower than the estimate made last year.
