Washington: The US state of Georgia has passed an anti-Hindu phobia resolution. The House has described Hindus as helpful in the development of the US. Hindus living in the US have welcomed the move.
The resolution, introduced in the Georgia House, mentions the world’s 1.2 billion Hindus, who live in 100 different countries of the world.
Hindus living in all the countries of the world have always worked with mutual harmony to irrigate the land in which they live. Hindus have not even seen hatred for other religions while attempts are being made to target them in a tolerant and multi-coloured cultural country like the US, which the House opposes.
The resolution, tabled in the Georgian House, said Hindu phobia has been institutionalised by some preachers of other religions who are campaigning to eliminate Hinduism and Hindus.
