Rome: Newly-fascist leader Georgia Maloney was sworn in as Italy’s first right-wing prime minister today. Maloney, 45, took the oath of office in front of the Italian president at the presidential palace.

With this, she has become the first female Prime Minister of Italy. The Brothers of Italy won the most votes in the national elections held last month.

She will lead a coalition government that includes the right-wing League of Matteo Salvini and the Forza Italia party, a party headed by former prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.
