Go First plane makes emergency landing after alarm goes off

Coimbatore: A Go First Airlines flight from Bangalore to Maldives capital Male made an emergency landing at the Coimbatore airport after a warning alarm went off. The aircraft landed immediately after an alarm was sounded about overheating of the engine, officials said today. “The Airbus 320 landed at the Coimbatore International Airport at around 12 noon.

The alarm went off after both engines of the aircraft allegedly overheated and the flight landed safely.

The engineers checked the engines. They said there was something wrong with the alarm and the plane was fit to take off. There were 92 passengers on board, officials said.
