Chandigarh: ADGP Jail B Chandrashekhar visited Goindwal Sahib in connection with the bloody clash between miscreants in Goindwal Jail.
During this, he took strict cognizance of the negligence of jail superintendent Iqbal Singh Brar.
Assistant Jail Superintendent Harish Kumar has been suspended for security lapses. Jail Superintendent Iqbal Singh Brar was on leave during Sunday’s bloody clash but returned to duty as soon as the incident was reported.
The ADGP has also ordered a probe into the entire incident and against jail staff including Jail superintendent Brar, sources said.
