Lviv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday extended his thanks to SpaceX chief executive Elon Musk for giving Ukraine access to his company’s satellite-internet system, called Starlink.
“Talked to @elonmusk. I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds. Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities. Discussed possible space projects 🚀. But I’ll talk about this after the war,” he said in a tweet.
The development is significant amid Russia’s invasion and many large cities in Ukraine struggling for proper signal of internet or phone connection after being shelled by troops.
