New York: In a possible hate crime incident, a 70-year-old Sikh man attacked by unidentified persons in Richmond Hill, New York.
According to the police, it was an unprovoked attack and victim, identified as Nirmal Singh, was punched by unidentified accused.
The incident occurred when Sikh went for early morning walk. He was later taken to hospital and his nose was broken while he sustained several bruises.
Local police confirmed that the case is being investigated as a hate crime as victim told them that assailants attacked him from behind.
