New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday asked the prime minister Narendra Modi to watch a new video clip showing an SUV mowing down farmers and take strict action against the accused.

She also questioned that why the accused minister has not been suspended and his son has not been arrested for allegedly murdering farmers.

“Have you seen this video Modi ji? This video shows the son of a member of your council of ministers running over farmers with his vehicles,” she said in the video.

She said that why the opposition leaders such as herself have been kept under detention without any FIR and or minister’s son is at large.

” The farmers got us freedom. Their sons defend our borders. Come to Lakhimpur Kheri and see struggle of farmers,” Vadra said.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi also shared the video on Twitter and Facebook, respectively. BJP MP Varun Gandhi sharing the same video said it was soul wrenching and perpetrators seen in the clip should be identified and brought to justice.
